International Residencies Program

The Australia Council for the Arts International Residencies Program, enables the artistic development of individual artists and groups by brokering and offering high quality residency experiences. The experience enables artists to articulate their practice within a global context and build knowledge, networks and partnerships that support future international arts activity.
Outcomes for an artist on residency can include:
relationships and collaborations that are vital to the development of artistic practice and market opportunities
research and development of new work
acceleration of artistic practice
cultural exchange.
