Audio Producer

The Audio Producer will work closely with the Senior Digital Editor, Programming Manager and Digital Producer to deliver the Wheeler Centre’s Signal Boost podcast mentorship scheme – a suite of initiatives designed to elevate inclusion, technical skill and creativity in audio storytelling, involving tailored mentorships, workshops, hands-on production and educational material. The Audio Producer will also assist with the Wheeler Centre’s general audio and digital production, including its regular podcast series and the Australian Audio Guide. They will liaise with programming, marketing, development and operations teams as needed.
The Wheeler Centre is looking for someone who can bring production expertise, strong communication skills and a creative approach to audio projects to the position. A familiarity with the culture and public debates in which the Wheeler Centre is enmeshed, and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a small team and build strong working relationships across a broad range of responsibilities is essential.
