M1 Singapore Fringe Festival
The M1 Singapore Fringe Festival is an exciting festival that is all-inclusive, covers a range of art forms, and is one of the few festivals in Singapore with a strong curatorial identity.
Fringe 2021’s theme of Quiet Riot invites us to consider what resistance means today. Do protests necessarily have to be associated with destruction, or is there a place for quiet riots? Can quiet riots be a means towards negotiation for a middle ground between entities that may appear irreconcilable at first encounter?
We are looking for performance and live art works that will fall within the theme.
