There are many ways we can help you through our services.
Many of our artists come to us to be auspiced through funding applications. Planning phaseIn the planning phase, if you are looking for funding we can help sort out which funding bodies are best to apply to for your project. The next step, if required, is to help draw up a working and viable budget to use in your applications. We keep up to date on equity rates and industry standards. Our advice and budget service is provided free of charge. Our aim is to assist you in ensuring that your project is as economically feasible as possible. Please note, we do not write applications for you. We are happy to cast an eye over your completed applications, but our advice on the written content is just that.Funding approvalIf you are approved for funding – congratulations! As we are listed as the auspice on your application, the paperwork and contracts are forwarded to us to sign on your behalf. We then send out an invoice for the funding and the process of auspicing begins. Once funding is approved we assess total income, re-budget if required and ensure that all risk issues are taken into consideration. An agreement will then be set up between yourself and Auspicious. Project requirementsEvery project and every artist is different so Auspicious starts by working out how much or how little financial management you would like us to take on. We can provide a day to day financial management role, monitoring expenses and income, provide regular updates and look after all payments for your project, both incoming and outgoing. We can be the main of point of contact for your suppliers. We also handle administration, drawing up contracts for your cast and crew, handling superannuation and work cover claims and keeping all copies of receipts and paperwork on site. If needed, we can also provide cash flow support throughout the project. As part of our fee, your project is covered by our Public Liability and Travel Insurance, however conditions apply. Sometimes our role goes outside the box, if you have something that you are unsure fits our job description, just ask us. Most of the time we can do it. Project completionWhen the project is completed, we finalise all payments and wrap up the account. Most funding bodies require a written and financial acquittal at the end of each project, it is our job to write up the financial acquittal and arrange an audit of the project if required, which we send to them on your behalf. After your project has finished we hope to continue working with you. We regularly foster collaborations between Auspicious artists, creating ongoing partnerships and exciting new projects. |
